Day 209 Mile 209: Rain, glitter and a message from the universe. Today the weather has gone back to that which is expected from a summer in Wales. It is flinging it down, if you were to unwind the garden hose, take it into the bathroom and turn it on above yourself, while simultaneously in the shower set to tepid, you are probably close to how it is!
Anyway I was already wet from having been to an event, and covered in glitter due to having a daughter; so I went out running anyway, in any random direction my nose took me.
In the midst of all the grey antediluvian shambles I came across a piece of graffiti on the road. Sometimes you just have to get out into the world to notice this stuff, and, occasionally it makes a big difference. So there you go, get out there and ‘Be Happy’ 🙂
I’m running a mile each day everyday for 2017. If you feel you can sponsor me please do, as all the money raised will go to the Cleft Lip & Palate Association (CLAPA) who provide services all across the UK to support people affected by it.
Distance: 1728.0 meters recorded
(1 mile = 1609.34 m.)
Thanks as ever for all the support!
Having heard this in the morning it popped back up as an earworm running back up the hill…
