Day 175 Mile 175: A Mediaeval Form of Exercise

Day 175 Mile 175: A Mediaeval Form of Exercise. The historic town of Conwy boasts world heritage status on account of its impressive castle and town Wales. There is usually something going on and this weekend a friend of mine who happens to be the Town Jester  (yes that’s still a real job!) has organised a medieval tournament.

Some days one just has to go with the flow. So I got to dress up silly, wander about the place, make music and chat to people and get paid for it.

I had planned to do a run through the middle but it was just too crowded and transportation issues ment I had to get back home before I had a chance to run but suffice it to say ’twas done olde worlde style!

I’m running a mile each day everyday for 2017. If you feel you can sponsor me please do, as all the money raised will go to the Cleft Lip & Palate Association (CLAPA) who provide services all across the UK to support people affected by it.

Distance: 1621.8 meters recorded

(1 mile = 1609.34 m.)
