Day 157 Mile 157: A Long Road. What a difference a day makes. The weather is still awful but the tendons in my foot feel significantly better, it looks like this challenge should go the distance after all! The difference between this time yesterday is amazing. I could barely take a step without significant pain or limping compared to today where I can go on tiptoes on the affected foot. This suggests that it should just a temporary niggle of an injury, and while needs watching hopefully shouldn’t be around for too long. That said I took it very, very easy today but undeniably RAN!
Thanks to so many people who expressed concern and good wishes yesterday, most especially to mechanic and fell runner extraordinaire Pete ‘Duck’ Jones who worked outside in all weathers to get my car fixed and through it’s MOT.
I’m running a mile each day everyday for 2017. If you feel you can sponsor me please do, as all the money raised will go to the Cleft Lip & Palate Association (CLAPA) who provide services all across the UK to support people affected by it.
Distance: 1857.8 meters recorded
(1 mile = 1609.34 m.)
Thanks as ever for all the support!
