Day 151 Mile 151: Up Early Up High. The sun has once again donned his head gear and all is well with the world. While on my way to work I turned right instead of left and drove up into the hills above the city. Very few people seem to come up here, and in a way that is a great thing, but, in another its a real shame.
Today’s route contours around the side of the hill going up the gravel trail overlooking the sea where the tide is low exposing silty sandbanks under a blue sky. It is already getting hot but thankfully this seems to have made the seemingly disputatious heard of cows on the slopes above me more docile, and even the sheep seem happy to just let the day get on with itself.
Anyway I had better get to work! GPS data to follow once I have got back home to where the cable is to upload it from my watch (sorry)!
I’m running a mile each day everyday for 2017. If you feel you can sponsor me please do, as all the money raised will go to the Cleft Lip & Palate Association (CLAPA) who provide services all across the UK to support people affected by it.
Many many thanks as ever for all the support!
