Day 133 mile 133: Breezy around the Ramparts. The epic rain that deluged the coast yesterday afternoon has finally died down, to be replaced by a stiff breeze coming down the estuary. This makes doing the Conwy Parkrun even more amusing than normal as in-spite of not feeling too great today there were parts of the run where one was almost bodily carried along by the breeze… which was fun. Obviously the flip side is that other parts of the run feel significantly harder work, but I’m trying not to dwell on this. Great to see so many familiar faces out today, and the town itself getting busier as the tourists start arriving for the summer.
I’m running a mile each day everyday for 2017. If you feel you can sponsor me please do, as all the money raised will go to the Cleft Lip & Palate Association (CLAPA) who provide services all across the UK to support people affected by it.
