Day 77 mile 77: 6 Nations 5K. Today finds me doing a Saturday 5km Parkrun. It is great to meet up with friends and run socially rather than wandering off in my own mind for a change! All of a sudden what could have been a rather drizzly run, buffeted by the wind and socks soaked by puddles became a far more enjoyable experience. Thanks for running with me HP 🙂
Today has something of a carnival atmosphere as it is the last day of the 6 Nations rugby in a country which is famously enthusiastic about the game. As someone English living in Wales I am also really happy to say that both teams are playing AND not playing each other. It could be a great afternoon!
I’m running a mile each day everyday for 2017. If you feel you can sponsor me please do, as all the money raised will go to the Cleft Lip & Palate Association (CLAPA) who provide services all across the UK to support people affected by it.
Distance: 4969.6 meters recorded
(1 mile = 1609.34 m.)
