Day 70 mile 70: Waterfalls

img_9542Day 70 mile 70: Waterfalls. Above the village of Abergwyngregyn the water exits from the rolling plateau of the Carneddau mountain range forming a series of spectacular waterfalls and rapids.

There is a long path which winds up the the main waterfall which passes the remains of Iron Age settlements through some ancient deciduous woodland before reaching the 120ft cascade.

I have heard an anecdote that you can gauge the quality of air by the amount of different colours of lichen you can find on a rock, I can see at least four…

It’s beautiful and a wonderful opportunity to blow some cobwebs from the psyche.

Thanks for all the support 🙂

I’m running a mile each day everyday for 2017. If you feel you can sponsor me please do, as all the money raised will go to the Cleft Lip & Palate Association (CLAPA) who provide services all across the UK to support people affected by it.
