Day 56 mile 56: 5Km Breakfast. Today finds me back doing a 5K Parkrun. It’s a real buzz to see over 100 people out and running down the Conwy estuary, irrespective of some of the awful weather we have had (and continue to have!) over the last few days.
Screen grab from last-nights weather forecast
Aside from catching up with some astounding people, seeing astounding architecture, flora and fauna; the fact that it is Saturday means that it is a good excuse to go charging through the water and mud before heading home for a late breakfast of sausage butty on nice thick bread and a cup of tea to chase the winter away!
Thanks for all the support as ever, it really means a lot!
Some music to charge around the place to 🙂
I’m running a mile each day everyday for 2017. If you feel you can sponsor me please do, as all the money raised will go to the Cleft Lip & Palate Association (CLAPA) who provide services all across the UK to support people affected by it.
Distance: 4992.6 meters recorded
(1 mile = 1609.34 m.)
