First Day back at work and getting my head back into actually running! 3, 2017 at 01:01PM Bangor Cycle track

Bangor Cycle track

Ok so the first day back at work was always bound to be slightly traumatic, even in terms of just getting this done let alone the thousand and one other things that should also be being looked after. However it is great to be able to get out over lunch into the woods and blow away a few cobwebs. The other plus side is that the speed is slowly starting to come back, I’m still very deliberately not pushing anything as running full on everyday seems like a quick recipe for injury, however being roughly 1 minute quicker today without trying particularly much harder is a great start 🙂 It was really cheering to see the swans in the sea, at the end by the port… it almost makes up for dropping my phone (thanks to the 2 dog walkers who shouted to tell me)!

Distance: 1611 meters recorded
